Leadership is not about giving orders; it is about ensuring that everyone understands a shared vision. A good leader communicates ideas clearly so that every member of the team can contribute effectively. Equally important is the ability to listen. Leaders who listen gain valuable insights and build trust among their team members.
True leadership is based on discussion, not dictatorship. Rather than walking miles ahead, a leader moves with the group, helping everyone progress together. Even the best ideas and intentions have little value unless they are communicated properly. Poor communication can make a leader appear ineffective despite having noble goals. On the other hand, clear articulation reflects preparation, confidence, and competence. Effective communication not only inspires others but also boosts the leader’s confidence, resulting in higher productivity and better outcomes for the entire team.
